Biography

 

Ian Holloway is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in surgery of the hip and knee. He trained in London and was a senior trainee at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He spent a year in Australia completing two specialist hip and knee fellowships in Sydney and Melbourne. 
 
Mr Holloway specialises in primary hip and knee replacement surgery. He is a senior member of the orthopaedic department and previous Clinical Director at London North West Hospitals NHS Trust. 
 
He uses an accelerated postoperative rehab regime to allow early mobilisation and discharge. 
 
His research has been published in the medical literature on the subject of hip and knee surgery and he has presented at national and international meetings. He is on the teaching faculty of a number of National and International orthopaedic training courses.
